History of World Mental Health Day and Theme of 2022
The World Federation of Mental Health (WFMH) officially established World Mental Health Day in the nineties. Since then it is celebrated every year on 10 October. According to the WHO, the World Federation of Mental Health has set the theme of World Mental Health to be celebrated on 10 October 2022 as ‘Make Mental Health and Well-Being for All a Global Priority’.
This year, WHO, in collaboration with partners, is going to launch the ‘Make Mental Health and Well-Being for All a Global Priority’ campaign. It aims to mainstream mental health and wellness for people with mental health conditions, lawyers, governments, employers, employees and other stakeholders.
